Formed in the mid-1990s in Long Island, New York, Outrage quickly became a force in the local hardcore scene. Comprised of vocalist Larry, guitarist Alex, bassist Pete, and drummer Ron, the band’s aggressive sound earned them a place alongside regional heavyweights like Glassjaw, Vision Of Disorder, 25 Ta Life, and Tension*. Their 1995 demo introduced their intense style, followed by a feature on the 516 Hardcore Compilation and the Insight demo, showcasing their growing musicianship. In 2000, Outrage released Disharmony Brings Harmony, a full-length that mixed thrashing hardcore with moments of melodic depth. Their sound helped shape the Long Island hardcore scene, leaving a lasting impact on both local and national bands.
